Facilitator

Atmaram Cheruvu

  • Atma is an Electrical Engineering graduate (BE). In addition, he holds LLB & MBA degrees.
  • He has over 30 years experience in Insurance, Reinsurance and Risk Management. The last position held by him was as Head (P&C) and Chief Underwriting Officer of Hannover Re branch in India. He was also a member of the Branch steering Board.
  • He has worked in senior positions with Sompo Japan and Royal & Sun Alliance JV.
  • Atma has underwritten various Engineering Projects both as a direct underwriter and facultative underwriter.
  • Atma is a passionate trainer and has been a regular speaker on various engineering insurance topics across Asia.
